The options when it comes to RC helicopters

There are actually many different types of remote control helicopter and each of the have their own perks and drawbacks. The first thing you need to think about if you are a first time buyer is, which type should I go after? The thing to know about these is that you are going to have to build them and then learn how to fly them. Not to mention that the best ones are quite expensive. Here is a bit of advice for a first time buyer of an RC chopper.

Gas

Many people consider this type of helicopter to be dying out simply because people are just not buying them anymore. There do seem to be two reasons for this. The first is price and these are by far the most expensive RC copters out there which is why you really need to think hard before buying one. Another reason is of course that they are tricky to fly. One of the other things to think about is that without being shown how to fly it can be very difficult.

Nitro

Nitro is the one that is next on this list and this is a very difficult one too. It isnt the price when it comes to this one but more on the options that are available to take? For anyone who has just started the hobby the thing that can be tricky is all of the sizes that are available. The reasons why I wouldnt go out and buy one of these is simply because there is one more type that is best.

Electric

This is now the most commonly used RC aircraft and this is down to the fact is it is the cheapest and easiest to pick up for novices. The average tiem you get flying isnt going to be as high so you have to take everything into consideration.

If you arent that interested in choppers why not look into Airfix cars.
